Arnar David Jonsson became the first Icelandic bowler to win a tour stop, when he defeated Carsten W. Hansen from Denmark 213 vs. 206 in the one game final of Odense International.
The tournament was, as the 9th Stop of the European Bowling Tour 2018, conducted in Odense Bowling Centre for the 8th consecutive time.
The format of the final in Odense offered a first step over 6 games with 32 athletes taking part, of which the 10 highest ranked was awarded starting pins from 140 pins to the highest ranked down to 10 pins for the 10th ranked.
Step 2 of the final included top 16 from step 1, who added another 4 games to a total of 10 games + starting pins, deciding the top 8 field for the next four final steps.
The last 4 steps of the format offered one game matches as follows:

Mai Ginge Jensen became the highest ranked women ion a tour stop for the 10th time in her career, while Arnar David Jonsson became the highest ranked man for the first time.
Jenny Wegner from Sweden is leading the women’s division of the tour with 594 points in front of Ghislaine Sigter van der Tol from The Netherlands at position 2 with 580 points and Mai Ginge Jensen from Denmark at position 3 with 556 points.
Anthony Simonsen from USA is leading the men’s division of the tour with 469 points in front of Jesper Svensson from Sweden with 422 points at position 2 and Thomas Larsen from Denmark with 419 points at position 3.
